Children in the Garden - 2002
Limited Edition 1/100 available 13.6 X 17 inches
The garden at Netherhall provided a stark contrast to the dark interior, with three lawns, crazy paving paths and a summer house. It had many beautiful trees and had a wild feel to it. It also has lots of lovely shadows and light. Jean M Gardiner painted many pictures of the garden over her 51 years there and was always inspired by it. This painting shows the path from the back door leading passed the summerhouse to the bottom end of the top garden. Her youngest grandson can been seen wandering down the path whilst her eldest grandson plays in the trees to the side.
