Looking into the Netherhall Garden, Hampstead - 1992
Limited Edition Available 1/100 12.9 X 19.7 inches
The garden at Netherhall provided a stark contrast to the dark interior, with three lawns, crazy paving paths and a summer house. It had many beautiful trees and had a wild feel to it. It also has lots of lovely shadows and light. Jean M Gardiner painted many pictures of the garden over her 41 years there and was always inspired by it. This was painted from one of the top flats where friends lived.
